Speaking Events, Presentations & Workshops

Climate Ground Zero’s sustained campaign of nonviolent civil resistance is led by a growing team of passionate hell raisers, all with compelling stories about the struggle to end mountaintop removal mining in Appalachia.

In the coming months, some of us will be hitting the road, sharing what we have learned on the front lines at colleges and community spaces across the country. Through stories, discussion and multimedia, we are hoping to raise awareness and encourage fresh involvement in this struggle, whether by visiting our camp in the Coal River Valley or supporting our work from afar.

Would you like us to stop in your town, city, or university? A Climate Ground Zero Presentations can include:

  • A panel-style presentation
  • Multimedia; including photographs, videos and sound clips
  • Discussion and question-and-answer sessions
  • A meal, film screening or music show

A roadshow is a collaboration between Climate Ground Zero activists and their hosts, and we are open to developing a presentation that suits your needs. Any money we raise from roadshows goes to Climate Ground Zero’s legal or general funds (the general fund covers everyday necessities, like food and housing).
